NEUTRAL & PEACH BEACH ELOPEMENT

Let’s elope and get married on the beach! – not a bad idea is it? This lovely shoot was organised and sent to us by Katrina Matthews Photography. Check out pictures from this lovely beach wedding picnic and read the story behind the shoot.

This beach elopement shoot meant to take place back in March but when the pandemic took us into lock down we rescheduled the shoot and our original idea took on an even more significant meaning. With the new rules and restrictions around weddings in 2020 we wanted our shoot to show a fun and beautiful alternative way to tie the knot. We started the day in a quirky little Airbnb in Worthing where our gorgeous couple got ready together and then we headed down to the beach for some fun.

The incredible team of suppliers created a stunning beach table set up for two with cushions, candles and a beautiful one tier cake, perfect for an elopement.

We spent the day on the beach, in the sea and popping champagne next to an incredible eco balloon display to create a great example of how beautiful and special elopements can be.

For couples who are contemplating an elopement I hope this shoot inspires them to go for it, just make sure you have a photographer with you to capture all the fun & laughter from your special day together!

We had an incredible tam of suppliers for this shoot, most of whom had a 4+ hour round trip to be there on the day. There were a few suppliers I knew I wanted to get on board before the shoot had even been created. Having worked with Lisa Lyons Bridal before I was keen to get her involved in another project and her two gorgeous slip dresses were perfect for this relaxed beach shoot.

I was also super keen to work with Creative Decorations for the first time. Since I found out that their balloons are biodegradable and eco friendly I just had to get the to create a stunning installation for this shoot. The beach hut balloon set up was my absolute fav! Our cake maker and stylist have also been on my radar for a long time and wanted them on board early on too.

I like to work with new suppliers whenever possible so got in touch with a highly recommended local florist, make up artists and hair dresser, all of which did an incredible job for this shoot.
